Extra Añejo Tequila Collection
The Pinnacle of Agave Luxury: Discover Decades of Oak Aging, Cognac-Like Complexity, and Investment-Grade Craftsmanship.
The Absolute Zenith of Mexican Distilling Artistry Established officially by the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (CRT) in 2006, the Extra Añejo (XA) category represents the most prestigious, complex, and luxury-tier classification in the agave world. To earn the official designation of Extra Añejo, 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila must be aged in oak barrels with a maximum capacity of 600 liters for a minimum of three full years.
During this extended maturation under the warm climate of Jalisco, the fiery, vegetal bite of raw agave undergoes a profound transformation. Interaction with charred oak Casks softens the alcohol while infusing deep amber hues, rich viscosity, and an extraordinary aromatic spectrum reminiscent of the finest aged Cognacs, Single Malt Scotches, and vintage Bourbons.
Barrels, Terroir & Master Blending
-
Oak Cask Diversity: While traditional ex-bourbon barrels impart classic vanilla and caramel, master distillers increasingly utilize French Limousin oak, sherry butts, Port pipes, and Cognac casks to build multi-layered complexity.
-
Preserving Agave Character: The ultimate hallmark of a master craftsman is ensuring that extended oak aging enhances—rather than completely overwhelms—the sweet, herbal core of mature estate-grown agave.
-
Additive-Free Authenticity: The finest Extra Añejos rely entirely on time, wood, and climate rather than added caramel colorings, oak extracts, or glycerin syrups to achieve their dark color and silky texture.

Cigar Companions: Pairs exceptionally well with medium-to-full-bodied Maduro-wrapped Habanos or Dominican cigars.
-
Gastronomic Companions: Seared duck breast with cherry reduction, prime dry-aged ribeye steak, dark chocolate truffles, churros with cajeta, and aged Manchego or Gouda cheeses.
