Lake Breeze Winery

Lake Breeze Winery is a celebrated boutique winery located on the Naramata Bench in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, one of Canada’s premier wine regions. The winery gets its name from the cooling lake breezes that flow through the vineyards, creating an optimal microclimate for grape growing. Established in the mid-1990s, Lake Breeze has become known for producing high-quality, small-batch wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The winery was acquired by the MacIntyre family in 2001, who have since focused on expanding the winery’s reputation while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainable and low-intervention winemaking. Their philosophy emphasizes minimal handling of the fruit, allowing the grapes to express their true character. Lake Breeze produces a diverse portfolio of estate-grown wines, including Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Malbec, Syrah, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. Their Pinot Blanc is particularly noteworthy, often considered one of the best in Canada. The winery has won multiple awards, including Best Small Winery in Canada in 2016, highlighting its excellence in craftsmanship. Beyond its wines, Lake Breeze is also home to The Patio at Lake Breeze, a seasonal restaurant offering farm-to-table cuisine paired with their wines, making it a sought-after destination for wine lovers visiting the Okanagan. The combination of stunning vineyard views, exceptional wines, and warm hospitality makes Lake Breeze a standout winery in British Columbia.
