The 2014 Oculus displays a deep ruby colour with garnet hues, revealing its depth and maturity. The nose opens with rich aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and dried herbs, layered with subtle notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, offering concentrated flavours of black cherry, cassis, and baking spices supported by fine-grained tannins and integrated oak. The finish is long, savoury, and elegant, marked by freshness and complexity.
