After a half-century of making only Cabernet Sauvignon, some things change, and some stay the same. They still make only two wines in a classic, age-worthy California style. The following 50 years are even brighter with cutting-edge, sustainably built wineries and visionary winemaker, Nate Weis, at the helm.
Twomey began with a curiosity to explore beyond Cabernet. In pursuit of unique and expressive vineyards, their passion for Pinot Noir soon took over, leading them up and down the Pacific coast from Central Coast California to Oregon. Today, they produce nine small-production Pinot Noir wines and an estate Sauvignon Blanc, with four wineries and tasting rooms near where they farm in Napa Valley, Russian River Valley, Anderson Valley and Willamette Valley.
