Introduction

Clase Azul Tequila Plata is a super premium unaged spirit from Mexico, specifically produced in the heart of the Los Altos de Jalisco region. Founded in 1997 by Arturo Lomelí, Clase Azul México is an independent, privately held luxury house dedicated to showcasing Mexican culture and artisanal craftsmanship. The distillery's agaves grow in reddish soils at high elevations, where unique mineral and climatic conditions impart distinct properties to the plants.

Spirit Description

This pristine spirit is crafted from 100% organic Tequilana Weber Blue agave that is slow cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours. After distillation, the tequila is bottled without aging to faithfully capture the natural, fresh notes of the agave plant.

• Colour: The spirit is crystal clear and brilliant with bright silver highlights.

• Aroma: The nose features fresh and herbal fragrances of lemongrass, mint, and green tea, layered with citrus scents of orange peel and lemon as well as hints of vanilla and green apple.

• Palate: It offers a smooth taste of cooked agave, Meyer lemon, and green guava, complemented by enduring herbal notes and a touch of sweetness.

• Body: This tequila is characterized by a light to medium body with a notably large mouthfeel.

• Finish: It concludes with a long, crisp citrus finish that is often described as sweet.

• ABV: This expression is bottled at 40%.
