La Spinetta Barbaresco Bordini 2022

This wine is a Barbaresco DOCG from the Piedmont region of Italy. La Spinetta was founded in 1977 by the Rivetti family, who had emigrated to Italy with the aspiration of producing great wines. The winery's name comes from 'la Spinetta' (hilltop) in Castagnole Lanze, where the family settled. The family, including brothers Carlo, Bruno, and Giorgio Rivetti, prioritizes the vineyard, dedicating most of their efforts to treating their vines with respect, using organic farming, and promoting indigenous varietals like Nebbiolo.

Wine Description

This 100% Nebbiolo wine presents a pale ruby red colour. The aroma offers an explosion of fresh perfumes with nuances of raspberry and rose. On the palate, red fruit flavours combine well with aromatic, light, and delicate nuances. The wine is characterized by an extraordinary balance between freshness and structure, with hints of small red fruits, ginger, and wild fennel. It is noted for its elegance, fine tannins, and a persistent, ample finish.
