Product description
The Marchesi di Gresy estate, Tenute Cisa Asinari, has roots tracing back to the mid-seventeenth century. The di Grésy family has been producing wine since 1973. Today, Alberto di Grésy, supported by his children Ludovica and Alessandro, guides the estate with a philosophy of 'gentle precision', allowing the native grapes and the land to speak without excess. The estate's aim is to create wines that reflect the elegance and structure of Piemonte.
Wine Description
The wine pours an intense ruby red with violet reflections. The bouquet presents strong and rich typical aromas of blackberries, raspberries, and ripe cherries. On the palate, it is described as a fine and elegant, mouthfilling character with great drinkability. Tasting notes also include ripe and tart plum, cherry, violets, turned earth, and savory herbs, often finishing with a zippy acidity.
Food Pairing
A wonderful match for main courses like roasted red meats, mixed boiled meats, or Barbera-braised meats. Its bright acidity also makes it suitable for rich, dark meats, herbaceous cheeses, and hearty dishes featuring mushrooms, root vegetables, or grilled vegetables.
