Wine Description
Barbera Pozzo dell'annunziata presents a deep, vibrant ruby colour in the glass. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe black cherries, violets, and dark plum, interwoven with notes of balsamic, tobacco, and spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied, showcasing velvety tannins, a vibrant core of juicy red fruit, and refreshing acidity that balances the wine’s powerful structure. The finish is long and nuanced, with hints of sweet oak, dark chocolate, and crushed herbs.
Food Pairing
Ideal with braised short ribs, rich mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano. The wine’s structure and freshness cut through hearty dishes, enhancing both the flavours of the food and the depth of the wine. A perfect match to enhance the wine's complexity.
