Product description
The winery was founded by Pier Luigi Tolaini, a native Tuscan who immigrated to Canada in 1956 and later returned to his homeland in 1998 to purchase land in the prestigious Castelnuovo Berardenga area of Chianti Classico. The fundamental principle of the Tolaini estate is the belief that 'the best fruit produces the best wine'. The estate is committed to farming sustainably and organically, combining respect for the land's traditions with modern techniques like an optical sorter for grape selection.
Wine Description
Spicy notes of oak rise above distinct aromas of cherry and berry. The palate has a backbone of Sangiovese, a roundness of Merlot and enhanced body from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit purity and varietal signatures are testament to the meticulous care given to the vines.
