Bodegas Vivanco is a fourth generation family-run winery located in the sought-after area of Briones. Vivanco is one of Rioja's most important and innovative wineries, renowned for its strong defence of wine culture, and it boasts one of the world's most significant wine museums.

Wine Description

The nose is intensely aromatic, showing an ample presence of ripe red fruit such as cherries and raspberries, alongside liquorice, vanilla, cocoa, and subtle spicy, toasty, and smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is expressive, juicy, and smooth, with a luscious freshness and good acidity. It is medium bodied and balanced, offering notes of red fruits and spices, supported by well-integrated, round tannins. The finish is long, persistent, and harmonious.

Food Pairing

It pairs perfectly with heartier red meat dishes, such as beef and most cuts of pork. Other excellent matches include charcuterie and aged cheeses.
