Product description
Hailing from France’s renowned Burgundy region, specifically the Côte de Nuits, the 2022 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a testament to the esteemed winemaking heritage of Domaine Anne Gros. Established in 1988 when Anne Gros took over her father's estate at just 18, the domaine has since been celebrated for its meticulous craftsmanship and expressive wines that reflect the unique terroir of Vosne-Romanée.
Wine Description
This 100% Pinot Noir showcases a deep crimson hue with purple undertones. The nose reveals a bouquet of red fruits, notably strawberry and raspberry, complemented by subtle earthy and spicy nuances. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and fresh, offering a harmonious balance between its fruit-forward character and refined tannins. The finish is elegant, leaving a lasting impression of purity and finesse.
Crafted from vines averaging 40 years in age, the grapes are sourced from three parcels: Les Champs d’Argent, Les Glapigny, and Les Pasquiers. The wine undergoes aging in barrels, with 30% new oak, imparting a subtle richness and softening the tannins.
Food Pairing
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, duck confit, or mushroom risotto. Its bright acidity and delicate structure also complement grilled salmon or a charcuterie board. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience.
