Launched in 1992 by Shaw Wallace, the brand was later acquired by United Spirits Limited (USL), a subsidiary of the global beverage giant Diageo. This spirit is noted for its heritage, utilizing copper pot stills and blending traditions that date back decades.
Spirit Description
This Scotch style whisky is a sophisticated blend of finest Indian malts and rare Scotch grain spirits, specifically sourced from the historic Cameronbridge Distillery in Scotland. The blend is matured and mellowed in imported white oak casks to develop its distinctive character.
Colour: The whisky features a rich hue inspired by antique gold.
Aroma: It offers a delicate and inviting aroma with pronounced malty and woody notes, complemented by gentle hints of peat and heather.
Palate: The palate is smooth and velvety, delivering a complex texture where oak wood flavours impose themselves on a mellow malt base with subtle hints of spice.
Body: It is characterized by a full bodied and smooth mouthfeel.
Finish: The finish is long, velvety, and carved out in detail, leaving lingering notes of oak and spice.
