From its origins until today the work of Barone Pizzini has followed a path marked by sustainability, to produce wines that represent the territory in which they are born. With over twenty years of practicing organic viticulture, these attentions are not directed only to the vineyard, but to all the steps in the winemaking process and to the impact on the environment. Their approach to organic farming is global, and concerns all factors: from agricultural methods to the bio-architecture of the cellar, designed to fit harmoniously into the context of Franciacorta.
Made from grapes grown in vineyards that lie on the edge of the woods, this sensual and idyllic expression of Pinot Noir is transformed into notes of underbrush, currant, and blueberry together with hints of black cherry in the glass. The structure and balance of this wine are interwoven in a lingering tension between its rich flavor and acidity. 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay. Ideal with main courses, fish, white meats, cheeses and salami.
