Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve 2014

Richly garnet and purple coloured, the wine opens with aromas of oak spice and dark black fruits framed with chocolate mocha. Flavours follow the aromas, with dominant mountain blackberries, plum and cassis accented by black truffles. The fruit is opulent with soft, silky tannins and great structure. A wine built for the ages, with much yet to be revealed.

The wine has an inky purple colour, a big, sweet kiss of pen ink, graphite, cedar wood, licorice, blackberries and blackcurrants with some background oak, but it’s dominated by the fruit extract and the full-bodied richness and glycerin this wine possesses.
