Product description
This limited edition reposado tequila originates from Mexico, produced in the El Arenal region of Jalisco. The spirit was created to commemorate the second generation of the Cascahuín family, specifically honouring General Director Engineer Salvador Rosales Torres on his 70th birthday. Crafted at the historic Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123), this expression is composed of a unique blend of three distinct blanco tequilas made at the facility, each aged separately in American oak casks for 190 days before being blended together.
Spirit Description
This tequila displays a delicate light gold hue with bright silver nuances. The aroma is rich and inviting, offering dominant sweet cooked agave alongside notes of tropical fruit, citrus zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, and subtle oak woodiness. On the palate, it delivers a full, silky, and buttery mouthfeel that balances sweet and savoury elements, bringing flavours of roasted agave, pralines, honey, caramel, and baked fruit alongside a kick of black pepper, clove, and warm baking spices. The finish is long, clean, and warm, leaving a gentle trail of lingering sweet agave, light oak, and peppery spice. Bottled at an ABV of 45%, this cask aged release offers exceptional harmony, complexity, and spirit balance.
