The Harmand-Geoffroy estate produces a Gevrey-Chambertin with a communal appellation. The terroir, suitable for Pinot Noir, is limestone, stony and facing east.
After manual harvesting, the estate vinifies according to tradition and ages the cuvée in oak barrels with never more than half of new barrels, to wood without masking.
There is in this Clos Prieur all the elegance and power of the appellation , with a brilliant and deep color and a nose of red fruits, cloves and liquorice and a dense and silky mouth.
