Vincent Latour comes from a family who have been making wine since 1792. The Domaine used to sell off their grapes, but when Vincent took over from his father in 1998, he decided to bottle all of their production.
Vincent Latour began turning heads in Burgundy and has gained fame with the nominations of “Winemaker of the Year” and “The Best Young Winemaker” by the press. In 2011, Burgundy wine expert, Allen Meadows, made his first visit to the Domaine and has returned every year since.
Nowadays, Latour handcrafts 5,000 cases, with a focus on Meursault, from his 8-hectares of vineyards.
This Corton-Charlemagne has a brilliant golden colour. On the nose, a rich aroma of lemon and hints of tropical fruits. Powerful mouth-filling palate with aromas of flint, pineapple, lime & honey, followed by an aromatic persistence on the finish. Pair with grilled lobster and truffled foie gras.
