Product description
Echigo Beer, Japan's first microbrewery established in 1994, is located in Niigata Prefecture, a region renowned for its high-quality rice and pristine water. The brewery’s Koshihikari Beer is named after the premium Koshihikari rice, celebrated for its delicate flavor and cultivated in Niigata’s lush fields. This beer exemplifies the harmony of Japanese brewing craftsmanship and local ingredients.
Beer Description
Echigo Koshihikari Beer pours a pale golden color with a crisp, clear appearance. The aroma is light and refreshing, featuring subtle notes of rice, freshly baked bread, and a hint of floral hops. On the palate, it offers a clean and smooth profile, with a mild sweetness from the Koshihikari rice, balanced by a gentle bitterness from the hops. The finish is dry and refreshing, making it an excellent choice for those who appreciate light, elegant lagers.
Food Pairing
This beer pairs wonderfully with sushi, sashimi, or lightly salted edamame. It also complements grilled fish, tempura, or vegetable stir-fries, enhancing the subtle flavors of the dishes. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience.
