Finca Monasterio Baron de Ley 2019

Product description

This wine is made primarily from grapes of the Tempranillo variety. The origin was the vineyard's vines planted in the Benedictine monastery's area in 1985. Refinement is carried out for 18 months in new French oak barriques. This is followed by another six months in barrels, also French oak and with a capacity of 10000 litres.

Bright cherry red in the glass. On the nose of roasted coffee, cloves and cinnamon. The palate is elegant and spicy, with hints of cedar and nutmeg. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: 85% Tempranillo, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drinking temperature: 16-18°C. Aging: 18 months in French barriques. This wine goes very well with game dishes as well as spicy cheeses.
