Located in Rutherford, in the heart of the Napa Valley, The Honig’s sustainably farmed vineyard is perfectly suited to growing Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Believing that wines are made in the vineyard, winemaker Kristin Belair focuses production exclusively on these two varietals, handcrafting the wines and then blending them for complexity and balance.

The blueberry and dark chocolate aromas are very attractive and follow through to a full body, round and juicy tannins with a hazelnut aftertaste. This is an excellent choice of wine with filet mignon, braised beef short ribs or prime rib. Experiment with cheese such as Swiss Gruyere, Comté, Taleggio and Beemster Classic.
