Ripe and honeyed, this is a good value sparkling blend!
This wine is a mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Rhine Riesling that has been matured for more than a year to enhance depth. Wild honey, musk melon, stone fruits, and toasted, leesy undertones are all expected. The palate is loaded with stone fruits and orange blossom water, with strong honeyed flavours. The methode transvasee, which transports the wine from bottle to tank and back, is used instead of the traditional Champagne method. For the price, there is a lot of complexity.
84 Points - Wine Enthusiast Clean, citric and minerally on the nose, this Hungarian sparkler follows with good, medium-bodied flavors of toast and mineral on the palate. It has a restrained style but the fruit still flirts with the tongue and leaves a finish that is both pert and sweet.
