Champagne Pierre Paillard, a family-owned estate in the heart of Bouzy, France, has been cultivating vineyards since 1799. Now managed by the eighth generation, the Paillard family is dedicated to producing Champagnes that reflect the unique terroir of their Grand Cru vineyards.
The Les Parcelles '18th Edition' is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, sourced exclusively from 22 plots in the Montagne de Reims Grand Cru village of Bouzy. The base vintage is 2018, complemented by 30% reserve wines, and aged for four years on the lees. This Champagne presents a pale golden color and opens with notes of fresh apples and hints of red berries. The palate is juicy with zesty, citrusy acidity, crisp, and tart, leading to a harmonious finish.
Optimal Drinking Window: This Champagne is ready to enjoy upon release and can develop additional complexity over the next 3-5 years.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Les Parcelles '18th Edition' pairs well with pork, rich fish dishes, shellfish, and mild or soft cheeses, enhancing the wine's depth and complexity.
