Valinch & Mallet is a young Italian independent bottler of single cask bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration. It was created by two individuals, coming from different backgrounds, united by the common passion for whisky and the desire to transform it into a profession. Each cask of whisky being unique by nature, this characteristic is transferred to the bottles. Each of them has a handmade metallic plaque, where the information of each specific cask has been engraved by a fine blacksmith, thus creating unique works of art.
A single malt from the Craigellachie distillery, aged in a single bourbon hogshead for 10 years. This was bottled by Valinch & Mallet for their Young Masters Edition range, with only 333 bottles produced. 48.8% ABV
Nose: Porridge oats, dried oak, cacao and mint.
Palate: Mineraly and crisp, with a touch of caramel giving it sweetness.
Finish: Dehydrated strawberry, orange peel and malted barley.
