21 Seeds Cucumber Jalapeño Blanco is a pioneer in the "infused" tequila category, founded in 2019 by Kat Hantas, her sister Nicole Hantas-Emanuel, and their friend Sarika Singh. Born in a home kitchen as a "better-for-you" alternative to wine and sugary cocktails, it uses a super-premium blanco tequila base that is cold-filtered and twice-distilled at the Casa Maestri distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Unlike many flavored spirits that use synthetic syrups, 21 Seeds is infused with real fruit juice and natural botanicals, designed specifically to be "approachable" and easy to mix for a lighter, lower-calorie drinking experience.

Spirit Description

This tequila is crystal clear and notably smooth, purposefully avoiding the aggressive "burn" often associated with high-proof blancos. On the nose, it is remarkably fresh, leading with the scent of crisp, sliced cucumbers and the vegetal, earthy aroma of raw jalapeños. The palate is light-to-medium bodied and satiny, featuring bright cucumber notes upfront that are quickly met by a refined, subtle kick of jalapeño heat. Because it is infused with real juice rather than artificial flavors, it lacks any syrupy sweetness, finishing clean with a gentle, lingering spice. It is bottled at 35% ABV (70 proof), making it slightly lighter than standard tequilas.
