Agnes Paquet established her domaine in 2000 after deciding to reclaim a family vineyard plot that had been acquired in the 1950s and leased out for decades. Her winemaking philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for the land, focusing on organic farming and minimal intervention to allow the specific terroir of her 13 hectares to speak clearly through the wine.
Wine Description
This wine exhibits a bright ruby red colour with crystalline clarity. The sensory profile is highly expressive, featuring intense aromas of red and black fruits such as cherry, raspberry, and blueberry, accented by delicate floral notes of lavender and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy, and 'croquant' (crunchy), with a supple texture and a vibrant tension that reflects its high altitude origin. The structure is balanced with fine, well integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish that highlights pure fruit and a subtle spiciness.
