The Allegrini family has been a pioneering force in Valpolicella for generations, establishing a reputation for innovation when late family patriarch Giovanni Allegrini purchased the La Grola hilltop in 1979.
Wine Description
The wine pours a brilliant ruby red with a delicate, finessed clarity. The nose slowly unfurls to reveal an incredibly pure and lifted sensory profile, delivering aromas of dark raspberry, crushed rose petals, and wild blueberries. These vibrant fruit notes are complemented by sophisticated undertones of incense, blood orange, and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, this 100% Corvina Veronese showcases a contemporary style focused on a crystalline freshness and a lively, energetic acidity. It is medium to full bodied, presenting tight, fine grained tannins that seamlessly integrate into a structured mid palate.
