Band Wagon is the quintessential "crushable" lager from Calgary’s Annex Ale Project. Beer Description

This American-style light lager pours a brilliant, clear pale straw color with a bright white head and high effervescence.

Aroma: The nose is clean and minimalist. It features subtle notes of fresh-baked white bread and a delicate, crackery malt sweetness, complemented by a very faint herbal floral touch from the hops.

Palate: On the tongue, it is exceptionally light-bodied and crisp. It delivers a gentle grainy sweetness that is immediately followed by a snappy, dry finish. The carbonation is lively, providing a refreshing "scrubbing" effect on the palate that makes it incredibly easy to drink.

Profile: It has a highly sessionable ABV of 4.3% and a very low bitterness, prioritizing smoothness and maximum refreshment over complex hop or malt intensity.

Technical Notes: Brewed with premium Alberta malted barley and wheat to provide its signature light body and "crackery" foundation. It is lightly hopped with Willamette Valley hops and brewed with pure mountain water, then cold-conditioned to achieve its ultra-clean, "simple yet sophisticated" profile.
