Anohka Timeless Dry Gin is an award-winning craft gin produced by Anohka West-Indian Small Batch Distilling in Parkland County, Alberta, Canada (near Edmonton). Founded by Gurpreet Ranu, a former intellectual property lawyer turned master distiller, Anohka merges science with traditional distillation techniques. Named "Timeless" to reflect its classic London Dry inspiration, this expression is distilled on-site from grain to glass using locally sourced Alberta malted barley, earning international acclaim for its exceptional purity and robust botanical harmony.

Spirit Description

Anohka Timeless Dry Gin is crafted from a base spirit distilled in-house from 100% Alberta barley. The spirit is infused with a precise blend of 10 botanicals using traditional copper pot distillation. The botanical bill features Tuscan juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root, cassia bark, chamomile, fresh lemon peel, and fresh lime peel. Because it uses a rich malted barley base distillate, it carries a unique depth, weight, and silky mouthfeel compared to gins made with standard commercial neutral grain spirits.

• Colour: Crystal clear, bright, and pristine.

• Aroma: Bold, classic, and fragrant, opening with crisp, resinous Tuscan juniper, followed by bright fresh lemon and lime citrus, delicate chamomile floral notes, and a warm baking spice backbone from cassia bark.

• Palate: Rich, oily, and exceptionally smooth on the entry. Dominant piney juniper and zesty citrus yield to subtle sweet malt notes, earthy roots, and a warm, delicate spice from coriander and cassia.

• Body: Full-bodied with a remarkably smooth, viscous, and mouth-coating texture derived from its malted barley base.

• Finish: Crisp, long, and dry, leaving lingering pine, bright citrus oils, gentle pepper warmth, and a subtle earthiness.
