This rich red wine comes from Argentina, originating from the premier high altitude vineyards of the Mendoza region. Antigal Winery & Estates was established on the site of a historic property in Maipú first constructed in 1897. Following a complete restoration starting in 2000, the estate focuses on producing high quality wines using a gravity-fed gravity-flow system to preserve the absolute freshness and natural acidity of the fruit.

Wine Description

• Colour: Medium intensity ruby red with flashes of black.

• Aroma: A classic bouquet showing sweet cherries, dried currants, and plums, beautifully accented by hints of white pepper, olives, tobacco, and cocoa.

• Palate: Juicy, simple, and chewy on the palate, with robust yet rounded tannins that deliver flavours of dark berries alongside a touch of sawdust and spices.

• Body: Well-balanced medium body.

• Finish: A clean and slightly lean finish of medium length.

• Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-harvested from meticulously managed vines planted in the mid-2000s.

• Stylistic Notes: The wine is aged in oak barrels for 10 months, lending a precise perspective of the variety with spices and soft wood tones that are integrated with the wine's vibrant fruit energy.
