Antigal Uno Malbec 2023

Antigal Winery & Estates was established on the site of a historic winery in Maipú, Mendoza, first built in 1897. After being completely refurbished starting in 2000, Antigal was founded with a focus on producing high-quality wines, moving away from bulk production. The winery employs a gravity-fed system in its winemaking process, a gentle technique that helps protect the natural acidity of the fruit.

Wine Description

On the nose, it offers plum, strawberry, and blackberry aromas with hints of violets, vanilla, and milk chocolate. The palate is described as juicy and soft, with mouth-filling black and red fruit flavours, along with notes of cedar, chocolate, and vanilla spice. It has a silky texture, soft tannins, and a style marked by freshness and good balance, leading to an agreeably persistent finish.
