Arcanum Il Fauno is an exceptional Bordeaux style red blend from Tuscany, Italy, specifically hailing from the Toscana IGT appellation within the southern edge of the Chianti Classico region. Established in 1994 and now part of the Jackson Family Wines collection, the historic Tenuta di Arceno estate boasts winemaking traditions dating back thousands of years. Legendary winemaster Pierre Seillan guides the estate's philosophy, utilizing micro-cru cultivation across diverse elevations and clay rich soils to capture the true power and elegance of international varieties.
Wine Description
In the glass, this wine displays a deep, dark ruby color. The nose is highly expressive, revealing layered aromas of ripe plums, black cherries, and violets, beautifully complemented by subtle hints of eucalyptus, sweet spices, and earthy cedar. On the palate, it is full bodied, dense, and voluptuous, delivering rich flavors of candied black cherry, blackberry, licorice, and dark chocolate.
