Argiano is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in Montalcino, with a history dating back to 1580 and serving as a founding member of the local wine consortium in 1967. Since 2013, the estate has been owned by André Esteves, who entrusted winemaking to Bernardino Sani; together, they have shifted the philosophy toward terroir-driven, minimal-intervention wines that prioritize elegance and aromatic purity over power.

The Argiano Brunello di Montalcino presents a vivid ruby red colour with important garnet reflections. The sensory profile is broad and sophisticated, featuring expressive aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and plum, layered with notes of violets, dried herbs, tobacco, and subtle balsamic hints. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet silky, showcasing a rich concentration of wild berries and blood orange balanced by a racy acidity. It is characterized by its fine-grained tannins and a persistent, refined finish that reveals nuances of leather, spice, and earth.
