Product description
Armand de Brignac Blanc de Blancs originates from France, within the historic Champagne region. The luxury brand is crafted by the Cattier family, who have operated as viticulturists since 1763 and bring multi-generational expertise to their cellars in Chigny-les-Roses. The winemaking philosophy behind this cuvée relies on showcasing the unique dual terroir of the region, sourcing fruit from both the traditional Chardonnay territory of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Every bottle is encased in a striking, platinum-silver metallic bottle that is individually finished and fitted with pewter labels by hand.
Wine Description
This sparkling wine presents a brilliant silver-yellow appearance in the glass and possesses a rich, medium-to-full body with a soft, chalky, and enveloping texture. The sensory profile is elegant, vibrant, and highly complex, opening with a sophisticated nose of lightly buttered baked pastry, green apple, hazelnut, gingerbread, and freshly cut lilies. On the rich and energetic palate, it delivers deep flavours of pear, guava, gooseberry, and peach, layered with sweet spice notes of cinnamon and vanilla. The finish is remarkably fresh, clean, and persistent, driven by a powerful natural acidity and a distinct vein of mineral tension.
Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay, picked from premier plots including famed Grand Cru villages.
Stylistic Notes: The wine is celebrated for its incredible structural focus and harmony, balancing crisp stone fruit traits with a supple roundness. It incorporates a signature multi-vintage approach and benefits from a unique dosage aged for one year in French oak barrels to build a creamy, pastry-like layer.
ABV: 12.5%.
Organic Status: While the estate vineyards are farmed under the high-level HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) sustainable agriculture protocol to safeguard the terrain, this commercial release is not certified organic.
Food Pairing
The vibrant acidity, fine mousse, and rich fruit profile of this Blanc de Blancs make it a magnificent companion for high-end seafood and delicate appetizers.
Seafood: Pairs phenomenally well with carpaccio of shellfish, pan-seared scallops, fresh sashimi, or grilled sea bass.
Light Fare: Suggested pairings include fresh raw fish dishes or light gourmet appetizers.
Cheese: Matches gracefully with artisanal platters of mild, light cheeses.
