Product description

Armand de Brignac Blanc de Noirs originates from France, within the historic Champagne region. The ultra-prestige brand is produced by the Cattier family, multi-generational viticulturists who rely on deep regional roots to guide their boutique winemaking operations. The winery's current operational philosophy centers on crafting a highly exclusive and powerful expression of its unique terroir, selecting prime fruit exclusively from the premier and Grand Cru Pinot Noir producing villages of the Montagne de Reims and the Aube.

Wine Description

This sparkling wine presents a rich golden or elegant white appearance in the glass and possesses a heavy, full-bodied structure with an intense, persistent, and mouth-capturing mousse. The sensory profile is incredibly complex, lively, and gourmet, opening with an intense and mineral-driven nose of blackberry, fig, plum, and apricot, beautifully layered with suggestions of honeysuckle, maraschino cherry, orange blossom, and gingerbread. On the succulent, rich, and dry palate, it delivers a deeply concentrated stream of sweet confit strawberry, blackcurrant, peach, and mango, harmoniously balanced by a flinty mid-palate minerality, warm vanilla cream, and a refreshing touch of fresh mint. The finish is remarkably long, crisp, and persistent, leaving lingering memories of refined licorice, honey, nutmeg, walnut, and a sophisticated trail of roasted coffee beans and pepper.

  • Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir.

  • Stylistic Notes: The wine is celebrated for its masterful integration, structural focus, and a precise balance between aromatic intensity and lightweight freshness. Each iteration represents a highly restricted multi-vintage masterclass, such as Assemblage Number 4 which unifies the 2013, 2014, and 2015 harvests after a minimum of seven years of slow maturation in the deep chalk cellars. Every metallic bottle is individually numbered and finished by hand, showcasing extreme rarity and collectability.

  • ABV: 12.5%.

  • Organic Status: While the estate relies on meticulous hand sorting, low-yield agriculture, and sustainable vineyard tracking to capture pure site transparency, this commercial release is not certified organic.

Food Pairing

The intense structural layers, savory depth, and bright natural acidity of this Blanc de Noirs make it a spectacular match for full-flavored luxury gastronomy and dishes with character.

  • Seafood: Pairs phenomenally well with smoked salmon, pan-seared trout, or an ultra-luxurious pairing of fresh caviar.

  • Poultry & Meats: Suggested pairings include a rich tagine of lamb cooked with spices and apricots, glazed duck breast, roasted duck, or a roasted pork tenderloin.

  • Savoury & Heavy Fare: Complements rich truffle risottos, dishes that strike a balance between sweet and salty elements, or an elegant starter of foie gras.
