Astral Reposado Tequila

Astral Reposado originates from the Tequila Valley in the Jalisco region of Mexico. Produced at the 'La Cofradia' distillery (NOM 1137), the brand was founded by Master Sommelier Richard Betts and is currently owned by Diageo. The distillery is notable for its sustainable practices, including a partnership with Habitat for Humanity Mexico to upcycle leftover agave fibres into adobe bricks for local housing projects.

Spirit Description

This premium reposado is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave and aged for up to nine months in single-use American oak barrels. It maintains a bright, golden appearance with a medium body and a smooth, refined texture. The aroma is a sophisticated blend of cooked agave, toasted oak, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it delivers a balanced profile of rich agave sweetness, caramel, and warm spices, followed by subtle notes of butterscotch. The finish is long and warming, marked by a lingering touch of oak and light pepper. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
