More Information
Product description
From the United States, this Pinot Noir hails from California’s Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, a region internationally recognized for elegant and expressive Pinot Noir. The winery behind Atelier focuses on crafting small-lot, vineyard-driven wines that capture the character of the valley’s cool-climate terroir. Their philosophy emphasizes balance, detail, and a strong connection to the land.
Wine Description
Atelier Pinot Noir displays a vibrant ruby hue. Aromas unfold with ripe strawberries, pie crust, smoked meat, and subtle floral undertones. On the palate, layers of black cherry, wild herbs, and star anise intermingle with notes of toasty oak, tea, and savoury spice. The wine is full-bodied with round tannins, carrying pomegranate, raspberry, and earthy tones of autumn leaves. It concludes with a lingering finish highlighted by baking spice and rose petal.
Food Pairing
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with duck breast, mushroom risotto, or herb-roasted pork. Its savoury spice and red fruit depth also make it an excellent companion to aged cheeses.
