Attems Pinot Grigio Ramato is a distinctive 'coppery' style wine from the Friuli DOC in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. One of the oldest estates in the area with a winemaking history dating back to 1106, Attems has flourished under the ownership of the Frescobaldi family since 2000. The winery operates with a 'vineyard-first' philosophy, focusing on the unique terroirs between the Adriatic Sea and the Alps to produce wines that express the authentic character and aromatic purity of the Friuli landscape.
Wine Description
This wine exhibits a bright, typical copper hue with a mango coloured rim. The sensory profile is delicately floral on the nose, featuring notes of broom, Alpine rose, and green apple. On the palate, it is light yet precise and complex, displaying flavours of white grapefruit, mint, lime, and green apple supported by a balanced acidity. The finish is remarkably long and characterized by the area's distinct minerality and hints of currants.
