Wine Description
This Chardonnay presents a beautiful, darker golden hue in the glass. The nose is anticipated with bright tropical notes. Aromatically, it shows yellow peach, vanilla, and marshmallow aromas. The wine is 100% Chardonnay.
On the palate, it exhibits riper, warm-climate qualities that are harmoniously balanced with the brisk acidity and lemon zest notes of cool-climate fruit. The entry is clean and fresh, gaining midpalate weight with layered tropical and honeydew flavours. The body is full and rich, with notes of creamy baked pineapple and salty marshmallow flavours. Barrel fermentation and subsequent sur lie ageing, with monthly stirring for the first three months, contribute to the wine's creamy nature. Stylistically, it strikes a balance between classic California richness and a fresh varietal expression, delivering freshness, depth, and exceptional drinkability. The wine finishes with a crisp flourish. The alcohol content is $14.5% ABV.
