Avignonesi Grifi Rosso Di Toscana IGT 2018

Product description

The assembly of two such different personalities such as Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon blend together, giving this wine a unique character. Dark ruby red in color with purple reflections, the nose opens with notes of blueberries, blackberries and incense going up to sandalwood and graphite. In the mouth it is dense and complex with hints of blackberry jam and cinnamon.

It then evolves like a balsamic explosion supported by good acidity. The lively tannin all over the palate accompanies the savory and persistent finish.

95 Points - James Suckling

Sweet-berry aromas with white flowers and sandalwood. Medium to full body with fine, silky-textured tannins and a long, caressing finish. Real and curated. 50.3% sangiovese and 49.7% cabernet sauvignon. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

91 Points - Wine Spectator

Deep in color and concentrated, with black currant and blackberry flavors at the core and wild herbs and spicy oak in the background. Balanced and fresh, with fine length. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2023.
