The Bacardi brand was established in 1862 by Don Facundo Bacardí Massó in Santiago de Cuba, and it revolutionized rum production by introducing innovations like charcoal filtration, controlled fermentation, and aging in white oak barrels.

Rum Description

This is a complex golden or warm amber rum with golden hues. The aroma is rich with notes of prune, apricot, and vanilla, complemented by a hint of nutmeg. The palate is described as smooth and velvety, with flavours of stone fruits, spices, and oak, alongside a touch of toffee. It is known for its mellow flavour and full body, crafted from a selection of rums aged for a minimum of eight years in American oak barrels. The final blend is smooth, rich, and very full of flavour.
