The Barbeito Single Harvest Colheita Madeira pours a brilliant, bright amber-gold colour. The nose opens with a beautifully complex bouquet of dried apricots, orange peel, toasted almonds, and pistachios, underlined by a touch of ripe quince, dry grass, and a distinct sea-spray salinity. On the palate, this medium-dry fortified wine is delicate yet structurally profound. It delivers layer upon layer of dried stone fruits, warm spice, and a gentle oxidative complexity, perfectly framed by a crisp, mouthwatering acidity and a fine mineral streak.
