Belle Glos Pinot Noir Taylor Lane 2011 - 1.5 Litre Bottle

This is a Library Release from Belle Glos that is only offered in magnums. Dark violet to ruby red in colour this Pinot Noir has aromas of Bing cherry, blackberry, pepper, tobacco, and forest floor on the nose. Flavours of cherry, apple, and blackberry are balanced with pleasant acidity and nice minerality resulting in excellent depth and concentration that lingers through to the silky, smooth, and supple finish.

The 2011 Pinot Noir Taylor Lane is a small Belle Glos bottling offered only in magnum. Dark and supple, the Taylor Lane offers up a whole range of tobacco, cedar, dark cherry, plum and chocolate flavors. The extended élevage of 22 months in barrel is felt in some torrefaction notes. The 2011 is fully mature and a good choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. This is nicely done.
