Product description
Biondi Santi, situated southeast of Montalcino, is renowned for its pivotal role in the history of Brunello di Montalcino wines. The estate spans 26 hectares, with many vines exceeding 80 years in age. In 1865, Clemente Biondi achieved international acclaim for a wine named Brunello, marking the inception of this esteemed varietal. Today, the family continues its legacy, producing Brunello Annata and Riserva wines celebrated for their elegance and remarkable longevity, often aging gracefully for over a century.
Wine Description
The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva showcases a clear ruby hue. On the nose, it presents intense aromas of cherry, cranberry, and goji berry. The palate is marked by great tension and juiciness, with well-integrated acidity and fine-meshed tannins, culminating in a finish rich with clear fruit flavors, especially sour cherry.
