Product description

Introduction

This red wine originates from Canada, specifically from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Black Market Wine Company is an artisanal winery based in Kaleden, founded by Rob Hammstra and Michelle Shewchuk. Their winemaking philosophy focuses on small lot production using traditional techniques to showcase the unique character of premium vineyards in the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys.

Wine Description

The Black Market The Syndicate Red displays a deep garnet colour. The nose is complex and inviting, featuring aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, and cassis, layered with notes of vanilla, tobacco, and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and well structured, offering flavours of dark berries, cocoa, and subtle baking spices. It is characterized by its balance of power and elegance, with firm but velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish. This Bordeaux style blend typically consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The ABV is approximately 14.2%.
