Blackbull 18 Year Old Nick Faldo Collection

This blended scotch whisky originates from Scotland. First created in 1864, the Black Bull brand is produced by independent bottler Duncan Taylor, based in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. This special expression was developed in collaboration with legendary English professional golfer Sir Nick Faldo as part of the Sir Nick Faldo Signature Collection. It features a high malt-to-grain ratio of 50% single malt and 50% single grain whiskies, all aged for a minimum of 18 years in selected oak casks.

Spirit Description

This expression presents a rich, polished amber colour in the glass. The nose is lush and inviting, opening with fragrant notes of ripe dark cherries, dried fruit, fruitcake, and vanilla, accompanied by underlying hints of toasted oak, orange peel, and gentle baking spices. On the palate, it delivers a full body with a smooth, velvety texture, offering flavours of caramelized apples, dried raisins, dark chocolate, and sweet honey, balanced by oak tannins and soft pepper spice. The finish is long, warm, and satisfying, leaving a lingering trail of dried fruit, sweet malt, and gentle wood spice. Bottled at a robust strength of 50% ABV without chill filtration, it exhibits impressive depth, complexity, and spirit balance.

The Black Bull Nick Faldo Collection 18 Year Old has earned significant recognition, including a Gold Medal at the World Whiskies Awards. Furthermore, Duncan Taylor is internationally celebrated, having won Independent Bottler of the Year multiple times at the Icons of Whisky awards.
