Established in 1850 by English migrant Frank Potts, Bleasdale remains one of Australia's most acclaimed wineries. The winery is one of Australia's oldest family-owned estates, and the Potts family's fifth generation still operates the vineyards. Wine Description

The nose offers intense aromas of mixed berries, blackcurrants, dark chocolate, and lifted violets, often with hints of woody herbs and liquorice. On the palate, it is smooth and persistent, with luscious blackcurrant, plum, and spicy oak flavours. Notes of cassis, menthol, dried herbs, and cedar may also carry through. This is a medium to full-bodied red wine. The structure is framed by fine, soft, and subtle tannins, bright acidity, and a silky texture, leading to an elegant, clean finish.
