Product description

Bodega Chacra, situated in the Río Negro Valley of northern Patagonia, was established in 2004 by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, a descendant of the family behind Italy's renowned Sassicaia wine. The winery is dedicated to producing exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines that reflect the unique Patagonian terroir.

Wine Description
The 2023 'Barda' Pinot Noir presents a translucent ruby hue, indicative of its elegance and finesse. The nose offers an aromatic bouquet of red cherries, wild strawberries, and subtle floral notes, intertwined with hints of earthy minerality and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, showcasing flavours of ripe red berries, wet forest floor, and cedar, culminating in a long, bright finish with plenty of energy. The wine is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from younger vineyards planted in 1990 with cuttings from their original ungrafted vines
