Operating under an innovative, technical winemaking philosophy led by technical director and oak-aging expert María Barúa, LAN stands as a pioneer of modern, high-expression Riojas. The "Edición Limitada" cuvée represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship from their legendary 72-hectare estate, Viña Lanciano, specifically sourced from "Pago El Rincón"—an elevated, 40-year-old bush-vine plot enclosed by a majestic meander of the Ebro River. The bouquet opens with an expressive and generous display of candied black plums, wild blackberries, and cassis, seamlessly layered with rich nuances of dark cocoa, roasted espresso, pipe tobacco, clove, cinnamon, and a distinct line of chalky, iron-rich minerality.
