Bodegas Piedra Crianza 2021

The story of Bodegas Piedra began in the Toro lands when a family purchased one of the largest plots of old vineyard in the DO in 1968, with the goal of crafting excellent quality wines. Their vineyards are located at an altitude of 750 metres in the area known as 'Estancia Piedra'.

Wine Description

This 'Crianza' displays an attractive, intense, clean, and bright cherry red colour with garnet flashes on the rim. The nose is complex, marked by an abundant presence of ripe red fruits layered over an elegant spicy and toasted background. The wine offers a smooth, savoury, and creamy texture on the palate, where the fruit notes reappear. It is a structured, medium to full bodied wine with fine and well integrated tannins. 

Food Pairing

Recommended pairings include roasted lamb, grilled ribeye steak or sirloin steak, and braised dishes or stews like oxtail. The wine is also ideal with aged cheeses such as Manchego.
