Bonanza Chardonnay Lot 1 is a white wine produced from diverse vineyard sites across California, United States. The Bonanza brand was launched in 2019 by Chuck Wagner, the owner and winemaker of the renowned Caymus Vineyards. Inspired by his father Charlie Wagner Sr., Chuck Wagner created Bonanza to celebrate the simple pleasure of enjoying a high-quality, accessible wine with everyday meals.
Wine Description
This wine is intentionally crafted in a non-traditional style for California, avoiding a heavy buttery or oak-driven profile in favour of a pure expression of the varietal. It presents a light straw colour and a vibrant sensory profile featuring aromas of light melon and fresh flowers. On the palate, the wine is bright and fresh with a slightly viscous mouthfeel and flavours of citrus, lemon peel, and green apple. It is medium to full-bodied with a crisp, dry finish and well-balanced acidity. This Chardonnay is unoaked and has an ABV of 13.7%.
